1. Application of this policy

At ORGANET, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, which is why we do not sell or rent any personal information or personally identifiable information regarding our users to any third party. We hope this Privacy Policy will answer your questions regarding how we treat personal information gathered from visitors to our Web sites and users of our services.

2. What is personal information

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, personal information means information that can be used to identify and contact you, specifically your name, address, e-mail address, country of residence, as well as other information when such information is combined with your personal information. Location Information: With your consent, we may collect two kinds of location information through your use of the services on your mobile phone or device. To identify stores near you and to appropriately enable the services, we may gather location information through your mobile phone or device’s geolocation, GPS, or similar capabilities. Furthermore, as part of the services, we may collect information about your location within participating stores through your mobile phone or device’s Bluetooth or similar capabilities in combination with technology implemented by and with our retail partners. We refer to the location information collected through your mobile device’s applicable geolocation, GPS, Bluetooth or similar capabilities simply as “Location Information.” We will only gather these kinds of Location Information if you agree to share them with us by opting-in to the services (either during your initial app download, login or later) to receive the services and by enabling these capabilities on your mobile device. Once you have opted-in to receive the services and consented to our gathering of Location Information, the ORGANET Apps and services will continue to collect Location Information until you log off (they will gather Location Information if they are running in the background) or use your phone’s or other device’s setting to disable your mobile device’s applicable geolocation, GPS, Bluetooth or similar capabilities for the ORGANET Apps or services. We treat Location Information as personal information.

You acknowledge and agree that by accessing our Web site or using our services you fully understand, accept and voluntarily consent to the collection, use, retention and disclosure of personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. It is always your choice whether or not you provide us with your personal information; however, a decision to withhold personal information may restrict or prevent us from providing you with a particular product or service. We will only collect, use, and disclose your personal information with your consent, except where otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or regulatory requirement.

You can withdraw your consent for the use of your personal information at any time by notifying us at support@organet.my or by disabling the ORGANET application. Information may be retained by ORGANET for audit or archival purposes or as required by applicable federal and state laws.

8. How long we keep Personal Information

ORGANET maintains information about you for as long as we provide service to you, and longer for related business activities. After information is no longer necessary for our business purposes, we destroy the information unless there is an outstanding request or order to preserve the information.

9. Safeguards we have in place

ORGANET stores and process your personal information on Google Cloud. ORGANET employs reasonable managerial and technical measures to ensure that your personal information is secure. In addition, our dedicated team of information technology professionals works to maintain data accuracy and prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information. Unfortunately, no security system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information and cannot assume liability for improper access to it. The Internet is not a secure medium and you acknowledge and agree that the privacy of your e-mail communication and personal information can never be guaranteed as any e-mail communication may be lost, intercepted or altered. By using our Web sites, or providing personal information to us through any means, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of our Web sites and our services.

We may charge you a fee to access your personal information; however, we will advise you of any fee in advance. Your right to access the personal information that we hold about you is not absolute. There are instances where applicable law or regulatory requirements allow or require us to refuse to provide some or all of the personal information that we hold about you. In addition, the personal information may have been destroyed, erased or made anonymous in accordance with our record retention obligations and practices.

Any services provided by ORGANET is controlled and operated by us from Penang, Malaysia, and we do not intend that our services subject us to the laws or jurisdiction of any state, country or territory other than the laws of Malaysia and or Penang State. We do not represent or warrant that the services, or any part of the services, are appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction.
